It’s time for us tank players to rise up, and boycott queuing up for the tank role. After the gutting of Orisa and Sigma and making the game Reinwatch, stop queuing for tank! We demand to have more main tank viability than just Reinhardt.
Queue for DPS or Support instead. It’s not worth the pain anymore to play tank.
Rein, Zarya, Ball, Winston, Hog and Sig are all still decently viable, Orisa if played well. Rein is one of the most fun tanks and incredibly balanced, you literally can’t complain about the character
Nah, just queue all the tanks they hate.
Hammond, Dva, Hog only. No Rein or Zarya.
Rein is only fun if you liked getting knocked around 50 million directions.

Don’t Boycott. Play your old heroes like they hadn’t been nerfed. Launch halt in situations where it should normally work. Put your shield somewhere it should be able to block damage.
Don’t throw necessarily, but don’t adapt. Let the balance changes do what they were meant to and make these heroes garbage. Let these hero’s winrates crater, and show DPS players how frustrating it is to play without usable tanks.
Already pretty much have. Only play it for the free loot box/placements.
Support might not be great, but at least there isn’t as much pressure on me.
Also, Torb is secretly the best DPS, but I didn’t tell you that

Seriously, a boycott compared to the natural attrition of the tank players because tanking sucks in overwatch? It would be hard to tell where one started and ended.
I’m certainly going to play a lot more Hog and D.Va now. Not sure I’m going to boycott tanking but, I’ll certainly lean even further away from shield tanking.
The Tank role is the role that is bringing the biggest amount of inconsistencies to the game in terms of compositions.
I guess it would be better if they homogenized the role, but they don’t take action towards it.
Now they wanna make all tanks more Off-Tank-like.
Clearly the role of a Barrier-Main-Tank is not working good for the game in terms of balance and appeal.

Yes! Let’s boycott the Tank que because more than 2 Tanks are playable. Absolutely terrible.
Other devs from other games care more about the average players than the pros of a failing esports league. Ill go to those games.

Tbh it would be cooler if they moved more tanks away from shield tanking. Stop having overlapping shield abilities, rework orisa and sigma to have different abilities. Leave rein to be the only shield character.
