It can allow for new strategies with the new tank changes and divert from the main 222 strategies in a harmless environment. why are you so scared of trying it?

Hypothetically speaking, if tank players were to mass boycott the 1-3-2 card, wouldnât that create shorter tank queue times? One of the effects they are looking into is 1-3-2âs effect on queue times, and if they are reduced across the board, it could be deemed as a success âŚ
Try it out, give feedback. Thatâs what they are trying to promote with experimental cards. Preemptive complaints like this serve no purpose other than potentially driving Blizzard away from using the experimental card in the future, and as a community, I feel like this level of transparency and openness to player feedback should be embraced.

First off, please stop comparing those two things. Overwatch has changed dramatically between that period and now. Pre-role was full of unplayable or overpowered heroes. Right now, more or less overwatch is in a balanced state. Somebody mentioned dive before. Would dive be a must if Reaper and Doomfist were in their current state?
The problem of pre role queue was the 1 vs 2 tank matchups. The problem after role queue is the non-tank players who queue as tank because dps takes an eternity. Yea, so much fun to play with DVa/Hog or DVa/Zarya against double shield or a main Rein. So much fun indeed. But ofc you cannot see that because you behave like a snowflake who is going to lose all of her privileges. Grow up mate.
Yes they do serve a purspose. This is a change in the base gameplay of the game. The issues caused by the change donât need to be played to be seen. They are clear cut and can be seen by looking at them. Alot of the feedback about the ideas behind this will not be in any shape or form change at all because they are issues that are deeply embedded into the mode. Trying it in the first place ignores feedback that is important about its existence in the first place.
Honestly I think people think they are trying to be open an unbiased about things but donât understand that the biases are already being placed in and that the discussion is a bit loaded in the first place.
I mean we already have - I doubt the balance changes are live with the experimental card when it comes, so itâs just 1/3/2, we did that for most of the first three years - and it was awful then, I have an expectation that it will be awful now.
Tanks are just responsible for too much of the win condition, and shifting that responsibility onto a single person means the other 5 are not in control of the outcome, if you get a tank who doesnât care what is good for the team you might aswell quit that match, and not to mention the responsibility of tank is already the defining reason why it is underplayed, people avoid responsibility like the plague, and that is what tank is.
I have already watched a video in youtube with a leak about Hog changes. Heâs going to get something like a smokescreen whenever he activates his breather and the teammates around him will take less damage.

Itâs whole viability as a true test of 1/3/2 hinges on whether or not the mode comes with at least a baseline of mode specific balance.
Pre role queue it was the problem of 1 tank vs 2 tanks not having one tank, this experiment might be different.
The problem is that people are boycotting it before it even releases. We have no feedback yet and people are already complaining.
Well, there is one overarching problem. The reason why people donât play tank is because it is a job role, and the most important role on the field relative to the win condition.
Shifting the reason people donât play tank basically doubling down on it, I canât help but think this is going to backfire on their original reasons for even trying this out.
You donât need to test it to know that.
there are changes we donât know about yet so i think that the mode itself is not the problem.

I donât need to play a single game to know that putting an entire third of the game on ONE player is a problem. That problems exist no matter how many times I play the mode. Like how it opens up an actual gold mine for griefers/trolls and the real bad apples of the community. Oh nice still longer than other roles que time you got there mr. dps player be a shame if I were to leave on you. We all know those type of people exist and they are only going to be enabled more with the 1-3-2 or any variation with a 1 in it (2-1-3 and 2-3-1 are all equally as flawed as 1-3-2). The 1 itself is a huge huge problem that is unfixable other than by not allowing it in the first place.
Those changes can not possibly fix the fact that there is one person on a third of the games entire responbilties. That is a flaw that can not be fixed by anything other than another player.
You do realize that they are rebalancing all the tanks to be able to solo tank correct?
That means buffs for everyone
Again those changes donât matter in the slightest. I donât care what role you put at 1 one of any role is a mistake. No role can or should be done solo.
