Bought owl guardian mercy, now it's free lol

They should make all the wrath of the bride skins free through challenges just to piss people off. I’d laugh

I’m personally glad that they’re shunting more skins over to credits/Twitch but at the same time, I sympathise with the lack of transparency over availability, OP. It’s surely hard not to feel scammed when there’s absolutely no indication that a skin is going to become available some other way, especially since the default is that skins leave the shop and then don’t return until God-knows-when-if-ever.

If they’re feeling EXTRA troll-y, they should make ALL Of the skins earnable through challenges so that people have a better chance at getting them. Would that be such a super funny thing to do? Actually release skins that people have a chance of earning?

I gasped when I saw it, I can’t even lie. I never got it since I don’t play mercy, but now I will : P

Anyone is free to not buy skins, that is completely normal.

But if you think they are “$0 value cosmetics”, it looks like you don’t understand how business works. The fact that you also don’t understand the simple reason why skins were free in the version of the game you had to purchase + had purchasable lootboxes, versus a free to play game says a lot as well.

I know I would have loved to just be able to buy OW2, but gamers and the market went in this direction, so other AAA games had to follow suit.

Pretty contradicting statement there considering Prime subscription costs money. Technically, the skin costs 1 month of Prime.

Just remember who is laughing at you. Their game director, team4, content creators.
It’s not just Bobby who is laughing at you for paying salary.

Technically you can free trial then turn the free trial off. Profit.
