Bots in quickplay

Have y’all also been running into these recently? I’ve seen a few of these Torb bots just running into walls and spamming abilities off cooldown in quickplay in the past few weeks.

I think there was a Sombra one in one of my games yesterday. It was weird.

The bots I had were afk most of the game.

Report them, they’re usually levelling accounts to sell.

Ive seen them in 5v5 elimination.

I’ve seen plenty of these bots. Especially late at night. Still better than my regular qp teammates…

But yeah. They use a bot to level an account so that they can then use it to cheat in ranked. Please report them when you see them.

Hahahah, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a bot.
I’ve seen others mention before that it was Torbs that are bots. :skull:

I’ve seen one bot before, and it was several months ago. It was an Echo bot on Junkertown defense that kind of just… vaguely walked towards the objective, threw cooldowns into walls, and sometimes looked around in a very smooth, robotic fashion.

I wish I saved the replay, though, because it was absolutely hilarious.

That’s a terrible way to do it. They need to win games, not level up.

They are auto leveling accounts to sell for comp. $5 a pop.
Its FTP land now, cheats and bots will always be a thing from now on as it costs a player nothing to get infinite new accounts. Sims (new phone numbers) can be had for free.

I think it’s safe to say the people doing this aren’t the brightest lightbulbs in the box.

Maybe someone just let their 3 year old brother try out the game, and they didn’t know how to use a mouse.

Yeah, it’s a neural net training AI they’re trying to get to play the game.

Considering it can even do what it currently does is pretty impressive. Go check it out on youtube.

yup. THat is a bot. I am going to bet our friends at HB are back at it again.

Eitherway they dont need to do what they are doing.
