In fact I think Borderlands inspired skins for some heroes would be great, complete with the shading effect.
I mean, they reference Minecraft with an actual mine shaft and a creeper.
And numerous things about Destiny like Dinklebot and the Eyes up mission with the description: “Kill Guardians”

Leave borderlands alone. They do great with their easter eggs and have good references too pop culture events. They do not need to get mixed up with blizz and activision especially over something as silly as skins.
Blizz devs just need to be more creative but we all know that won’t happen.
