Blurry, pixelated display and frame drops

Hey yall, Im incredibly frustrated and would rly appreciate help ;-;
My game currently launches at 30 fps, then eventually falls to 5-10 frames after about 10 minutes of playing; it used to stay at 60 with hardly a problem. The display is also incredibly pixelated, like I can count the pixels in the Avatar collaboration art on the launch screen. Additionally, when I go into the practice range, the resolution is so bad its almost hard to see into the distance, despite me not changing any of my video settings. I’ve had this issue a few times in the past with OW2 (never OW1) but it would fix itself when my laptop updates automatically. My laptop has updated recently but the issue has not fixed itself this time. :frowning:

My specs? (please let me know if I need to provide more):
CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz
GPU: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design
RAM: 16GB (15.7 usable)
System: Windows 10
Screen res: 1920x1080
I am not tech savvy so this has been very irritating for me to try to fix (I can hardly understand what anyone is saying in all these threads!!) I really appreciate any help.

You need to select your GPU in the Overwatch settings. It’s likely using the integrated one.

My only options for GPU are “best match” or the NVIDIA, and switching to either one doesnt change anything. Is there a way to get the other GPU to display in the drop down?

Then you likely need to manually update the GPU drivers through nVidia’s website.

Thank you, this did help stop the blurriness completely! My frames are still fairly low however
Yeah, so I just played a game. It’ll stay at a consistent 30 frames for about 8 minutes then it drops and stays at 7-10 frames. My laptop normally runs 60 frames easily

Are you using Razer devices? Is the laptop using high performance battery mode? Any other power mode will throttle fps and overall performance.
