I feel like Blizzard is devoting most of their time into new skins, new broken heroes, unnecessary map reworks, etc, and not focusing on the core of the game.
The role queue should have been implemented a long long time ago
Smurfs have been a problem ever since the game launched
We can’t even change servers in game like Paladins, and that’s F2P.
We can’t see how many players there are while searching for a game like Fortnite, and that’s also F2P.
The practice range is still absolutely sh*t and we can’t even go in it while searching!
We should also be able to see clearly the amount of time each player has spent on each of the hero categories; I’m tired of doing quick maths every game.
Oh wait, the profiles are hidden now, so its all good! Blizzard has finally done something “useful”.
It’s the little things like these that make Overwatch seem cheap. Sure, there are no major bugs and the graphics are pristine, but OW is becoming like an iPhone, all looks, no power, expensive as sh*t and still wants you to pay more for accessories.
New heroes, new maps, maps and heroes reworks - this is a core game. This game is all about heroes and maps they are playing on.
All other stuff like event and skins are not core, they a just for money and vanity.
Stuff like LFG are simply systems.
Heros and maps should always be #1 priority. Especially heroes. No matter broken or not, everything can be fixed, but without new heroes the game will eventually die because of never-changing metas.
24, 25, 26 heroes were playable, sometimes even more enjoyable than 27 heroes. But without systems like LFG to build a game upon, the new heroes and maps are just shells, intricate shells, but still shells. The game just feels hollow.
A company should see what the fans are in favor of to gain that profit. Actually be active with the community. This problem is currently happening with Star Wars. How they’re not listening to the community and are losing profit because of it. If this business practices goes onto Blizzard then they could lose profit too. They must listen to fans; it is critical for them to do.
