But to day i received email like this

now my BTAG is “GOLD SQUID” …WTF

Because you can be reported for anything. In this case, you got reported several times for your name when they probably reported you for that and gameplay sabotage and abusive chat and whatever else they could because you tilted them.
It’s a flawless system isn’t it.
If I were to guess, it’s probably the first three letters that were caught by the filter.

Back in OW1 people commonly reported others peoples names when they wanted to get a name change for free I believe. You probably need to contact Blizzard through support to get back your name.

Yes but you can type nightmoon. Or moonknight. Or moonnight. Then again, easy way to tell is if you go create an account and try to use any variation of those names and see if lets you.
