I main Widow and she 100% deserves a rework like ASAP, just bcs her kit its more boring than it should be. If blizzard change her kit into something more like a spy or a secret agent, that would AMAZING. I dont care if that means she wouldn’t have the one-shot, i just want to play her with more confidence, without being dive EVERY SINGLE MATCH.
And it doesnt make sense that blizzard hasnt reworked her yet, bcs she’s in like the top 3 characters with more popularity, and she’s easy money. Everytime blizzard released a new skin for widow, almost instantly you will see people with that specific skin.
PLEASE BLIZZARD, or Alec, or someone. REWORK FOR WIDOW
I would change her grappling hook into the one that Hammond has so she can swing, and hang on ceilings, just like her highlights. Also, i would change her primary into the one that Sombra has. There are more ideas but for now thats all i want
Widow is not a Spy or secret agent, She is first and foremost a Assassin/Sniper and thats why the majority plays her.
You know, it makes perfect sense. Why should blizzard rework her, if she clearly has a big playerbase, dispite being very difficult? Why would you risk reworking her into something most do not find interesting or even boring, resulting in losing this big playerbase?
Again, your rework like you have done in the Workshop has failed. It makes Widow boring to play as, while simultaneously making her Broken/ straight up OP. Some would think Widow cannot be more hated then currently, and then there is this rework.

I think, I speak for the majority of Widowmaker player. The important part of Widow is her aim intensiveness and playstyle as a Sniper. Your rework removes both.

Actually, no. Maybe she’s not a spy or secret agent, but saying that she only is a Assasin/Sniper basically probe my point, the problem is that Blizzard only sees her as a Sniper, while the rest of her kit its basically useless. People probably only play her for one of two reasons, she’s pretty with a very unique lore or you have a REALLY good aim. (and this is the problem)
You could say the same about Sombra-Orisa-Torbjörn-Hammond-Roadhog and every other character with a rework. And you can also say that these characters feel more fun to play than they used to be.
First of all, i didnt mention my workshop code in any comment of this post or even this post, and im going to be honest, just saying its bad and op doesn’t really help, its just harsh words.
Second, most widow players would definitely prefer to have some changes in the rest of her kit, just to play more oppresive or even casual than just being literally just the ““sniper”” with every person on the other team counter picking you.
And last, speaking of the same theme isn’t spam, and even if i was just copying and pasting the post, the difference of weeks doesn’t make it spam either. I just want this topic to have more visibility, hope this helps (and sorry if my english is not that good)
