Now im sorry but not sorry. & not trying to be so-called toxic/negative (which is sorely overused/overrated expressions/& excuses ppl make up these times, which ppls use when they hate to hear or see the truth or hate to hear constructive criticism).

This isn’t going to be rainbow and unicorns,. Post, Ive been playing overwatch since this game released. Day 1. Ima FORMER Plat. player in OW1. which frankly is the much better polished & more balanced gm especially 6v6. & doesn’t require us tO gravitate towards dps trash. Trying to turn overwatch into a generalized run in the mill first person shooter another COD like all the other shooters. That being said ow2 has turned into nothing but a casual teens & for impatient gamers, it seems whom that like to Rage Quit when nothing goes there way. This has been Goin on now for yrs & nothing has been implemented to fix the problem. However our rankings gets affected??? & we drop significantly??? Due to rage quieters??? My opinion Rage quitting should be an auto ban for season 3 strikes your done. & if you are a continuous Rage quitter your account banned, sorry not sorry, why should others be penalized for rage quitters?? If u know your internet connection isn’t the best don’t play Competitive, Or if u live in an area where storm’s are rampant & keep knocking kicking u offline don’t play Comp. Until u move to better location. Self control Simple as that. Im sorry but not sorry. these are the breaks. Just keeping it :100: or until Blizzard implements an system to weed out Rage Quitin

Honestly the best solution to handle quitters would probably be to force a competitive lockout with increasing punishments. For instance, leaving a comp match should lock out a player until they play a full 15 minutes of another game mode. Right now, they just got make a sandwich or something and jump right back into comp. Enforcing a lockout via playing the game will accomplish 2 things. 1) discourage leaving by making it a chore to get back into comp and 2) ensure a player’s connection is stable enough to be playing comp.

Lockouts could be any time, 15 minutes for the first, 30 for the second, and hour for the third, so on. And that time would have to be spent in QP or another game mode to unlock comp again. Not just walking away until the ban is done.

They need to fix the matchmaking. Fix the main cause of rage quitters. Uneven matches and cheaters.

im in plat and in my last six games i have had 3 leavers each in A DIFFERENT GAME a tank who just stood in the open then complained cause supports couldnt keep them alive they didnt move just sat there as orrisa and shot there is no real punishment for throwers or leavers cause they make another account and keep playing comp is just unplayable and with the reset it has just got worse i now refuse to get the season pass cause its not worth it with the state of the game making it free to play was one of the stupidest ideas more players no more smurf accounts if they could detect smurf accounts they would find they loose a large number of accounts
