I doubt its overwatch related. The titan pve game was a big failure, ow2 pve a big fail. I cant see them taking another big swing at that under new management, its not worth it.
They should have made a Starcraft shooter years ago, i guess they tried and that never got off the ground too. It could still be SC related though

of course nothing will come from this, blizzard sucks, they do nothing anymore, they hate their own franchises, why they would care for a new one?
They lost bungie and Destiny 2, so they probably will try to get one piece of that cake. Probably a futuristic looter shooter.
So MS contracted multiple single player/AA style games out of blizzard for varies IP.
Chances are it’s not OW, but… their can be one on the way.

Most of this stuff never sees the light of day. Even under Microsoft, it won’t be any different.
I’ve seen countless games over the past 20 years alone that they’re “working on” by looking at their careers website. I can count on 1 hand just how many actually left the careers website stage.
How about lets speculate that they are finally going to chop up the Overwatch title into
“1” , “2” and “pve” with new flashy titles
Could be a Planetside 2 style game. I suggested Blizzard make a game like that years ago. OW was basically taking an existing model and building on it in a space where not much was happening.
Planetside is like that as well. It was a fun game but it’s old and not many people play it anymore without any other games really taking its place yet.

if micorsoft/activision or yea the ones that overtook blizzard were ever to do a World of Warcraft remake again i kind of wish for an unreal 5 engine or enhanced graphics version
only then will go back to azeroth. saw this AI of eversong woods, home of the blood elves and man… i wish
