Blizzard is actively stopping people from Deleting Accounts?

If that is correct, this may not be GDPR-complying, as there’s something requiring that getting out of a service be as easy as getting in, and getting in doesn’t require an ID.
Even the support article says “may,” not “must.”

Probably high traffic, too many deleting accounts at the same time.

It will be funny to read all the threads in a few weeks in which people ask to get their accounts back… all the moral apostel…

I’m also considering deleting my account even though a friend gifted me starcraft II Which I never play. Overwatch has caused me so much frustration. It’s not fun getting hanzo spam headshot’d. Not fun playing against smurfs. Not fun being placed in a match that I know’s been setup according to the stats I have on my character for the day. Not fun knowing blizzard doesn’t take reports seriously. Maybe I will just delete my account even if I lose money and SC2. Maybe ill just stick to paladins afterwards.

dont necro :man_facepalming:

Google search is a thing. It really does exist belive it or not, and people like to contribute to a discussion even if it is a little old.
