Wtf is wrong with it ? Im having lag spikes all the way since halloween update ? It literally becomes unplayable and multiple players in my regional experienced the same, its really a shame getting a server only for it to be trash smh.

Yea im in EU and the server is literally 20 km away and my ping is 15 but sometimes it spikes to 500 that’s unplayable.

Why are you treating your customers like this ? Players in EU region have been plagued with lag spikes all over the region. Is it because we aren’t In the OWL special discord server we don’t deserve to even play this game ? Why are you ignoring us like this ? All we ask for is a f-ing blue post, nothing more.

I am literally 20 km away from the server, and i dont have any issues with any other games, so it’s surely a blizzard shenanigan

I play EU, but I can’t say I notice lag. I mean sure, the past week I’ve seen minor spikes, but I assume that’s mostly my internet.
Idk about you, but all i see here is:
1-im close to the server so I normally have 20 ms ping.
2-its fine in every other game other than OW.
I cant say its not an OW thing.
Have you posted in the technical forum? They usually ask for further details there.
Other players i know reported it, yet they got no response other than confirming it.

Eu region is being left out in all of the posible areas . Customer service is trash, and this is the only games that gives me so much lag , me and my friends. I dont play with wifi just in case you were wondering. Even directly conected the ping somentimes goes nuts and the lags starts. And dont get me started on the " server error ocurred " so the matches gets canceled.

To this day, three weeks and they haven’t done anything, good job blizzard, you think anyone will buy OW2 with this kind of bad customer support ?
EU, here Blizzards looking glass is confirming that they have/had issues and it’s not us.
Authentication server were affected, I didn’t checked for OW.

@Blizzard could you please whitelist your own Website?
Its pretty difficult on everyone right now, the virus has gotten most game servers stacked. No one was prepared for this load, cut them some slack, the employees at Blizzard are also super underpaid with poor benefits and treatment, in fact its so bad they got contacted by osha a few months ago.
The lag spikes I’ve noticed recently haven’t been like any other lag I’ve had in 4 years, and my other internet still works in an unnoticeable way with no network notifications, (though OW is the only game I play that is this sensitive to lag).
The problem is, throughout the pandemic there wqs no lag spikes, only recently since the halloween update it started happening.
Neither of those tests are showing any issues. The Blizzard nodes with slightly higher ping have DDoS mitigation/packet ignoring, so they will always report high. But the high value doesn’t continue throughout the test, so we know it’s just the mitigation and not an issue. In fact, the highest the latency gets is at the local node of 67.9ms in Test #1.
However, the looking glass only tests the login server. So unless you can’t connect to the game, this wouldn’t be helpful information. You’d want to use the WinMTR, as instructed in the pinned threads.
