Blizzard CS so bad, Scammers Made Exploiting it a Career

This is a bit more of a comedic relief to a series of threads I have made and participated in lately regarding “false bans.” If you are anyone who has experienced this or has read any of these, you know the ban system is automated and based entirely upon players toxically reporting you. Appealing a false ban is relatively impossible. Ever talking to a person on customer service is relatively impossible.

Heres the comedic side of it. if you go to the twitter (X) end of customer support and tweet at them asking for customer support, they will likely ignore you as well… but…

you will receive well over 20 messages in any request for customer service you make within minutes and they wont ever really stop. these guys ask you to DM certain people on various platforms and these people offer various services including unbanning your account and selling hacks.

Now as to rather these are real or not… I would wager they are scams. I just think its HILARIOUS that you cant ever get customer support from this awful company but within minutes of asking them, the PR, HR, CR, and Sales departments for these armies of scammers/hackers come out of the woodwork. bruh its like blizzard is just handing players to hackers. no wonder there’s such a problem with hacks going on.

Honestly shameful. Their art department still does good work. The server/devops lads still try and do good work (but have slacked lately). The rest of their staffing is doing the industry a disservice. It’s practically unplayable out there.

I have to agree. great art, great games, terrible ban systems, terrible support. the last two make for a game breaking design. It is one of my least favorite things ever when a developer that I hate makes a good game with good content. I always hate them for a reason, and its often because of stuff like this. Playing and investing anything in them tends to be a HUGE risk. eventually PR breaks down for everyone and the game gets left behind as abandonware with the exact people that they say they never wanted in the games.

I’ve seen them as well on various tweets, absolute pieces of scum. They do indeed provide links, hilariously some of them for Instagram (?!?!?). I’ve reported them on X, but as we all know I’ve just wasted my time. X won’t be able to do a thing after the moron Musk fired most of the staff.

3 minutes of my ilfe I could have used on something more constructive. Like drinking some cool, refreshing beer after being steam rolled in ranked.

man… i used to hate being steam rolled in ranked… now im having wet dreams about it. as odd as it may sound, appreciate the small things like that while you have them. I wish I had. wouldve had a lot more fun playing the game tbh.

It’s insane how much QoS (in a broad sense) we’ve lost. People even volunteer to work there for free and help with the mundane (like reviewing bans, offering support, improving in-game systems, even bugfixes and QA/QC).

When they don’t even accept good help → That’s when you know it’s on the way out.

I have been playing a lot less after rediscovering my love for World of Warcraft, and going back to Baldur’s Gate 3 after some big issues with the game were dealt with in Act 3 (fingers crossed).

low key, baldurs gate the only game I have actually cheated in. not that it really matters for that kind of game though. if you click fast enough repetitively on selling items, you can sell them twice. buy them back. wash, rinse, repeat, rob every merchant. you interested in an honor mode playthrough for those gold dice? I gotta find something else to do now that my overwatch career is over. At least Larian actually cares about the community and takes good care of us. love those guy <3 funniest thing ever when they did the sponge and soap patch. still havent washed shadowheart
