Blizzard app says Im playing the game but Im not?

My game experience so far hasnt been very good. Every hour or so of playing my game just crashes and I have to restart my computer to be able to launch it again. Sometimes it doesnt even take an hour to do so. Sometimes my game freezes and when I press escape to get to my desktop the game will just turn black and I have to restart my computer again. And even so sometimes when I do restart my computer I go back to the blizzard app to launch the game again and it says Im currently playing the game but the game itself isnt open my computer and theres no way (that I know of) for me to stop the game. Sometimes Im not able to go back to me game for a day or 2 and when i do it just goes back to crashing every hour. Blizzard should really put some button or something in the actual Battlenet app that can just exit whatever game youre having trouble with from the Battlenet app.

Edit: now the game freezes just a couple of minutes into the gameplay. After pressing esc a couple of times Im able to get back to my desktop but I cant access the web or any other app any longer unless I shutdown my computer but I have to forcefully shut it down from the pc itself instead of from the desktop (if that makes any sense) because when I do shut down from the desktop my computer freezes and doesnt turn off. I really don’t like forcefully turning the pc off because I’ve heard plenty of times that its bad for your computer or something but it’s the only way to actually play a few minutes of the game.

Can you provide a DxDiag file by chance?

  1. Press Windows Key + R.
  2. Type DxDiag and press Enter.
  3. In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
  4. Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save.
  5. Open the file in Windows Notepad, then press Ctrl+A to select all text, then Ctrl+C to copy all text to the clipboard.
  6. Start a new reply, and type two sets of four squiggly lines and then place the cursor in between and press Ctrl+V to paste the Contents in a code block. Example:

I tried replying to you following all your steps but I’m unable to send the whole thing due to the character limit. I didn’t want to cut off 700 or so characters in case they were important. Any other way for me to get the information to you somehow?

i haven’t had another problem with my original topic and its working a lot better before. I’m now able to launch my game again after it crashes. Thank you!
