Blizzard did it’s part and apologized properly with a triple EXP weekend. What more do you people want?
quadruple EXP weekend
You can’t farm clown rewards here, pal, it’s not Steam.
Tell that to the people demanding refunds and explanations lol
A hug. humm or… maybe, a reason to play their game after the changes they have made to ow1 making the sequel a downgrade…
Nah is easier if all blizzard employees come to my house and give me each one of them a hug, but not bobby k.
OW1 back. PvE was the reason OW2 existed in the first place
We want double layered triple xp.
I mean a full refund for any microtransactions or battlepasses I bought since OW2 came out would be nice
Gonna go out on a limb and say a triple XP weekend probably doesn’t quite cut it as an apology for massively slashing content they said they’d add and then declining to mention it for months even as they continued to advertised PvE.
Honestly if they walked it back right now and said, “listen, we read the feedback, we know we goofed, we still can’t deliver on the grand vision we initially depicted but we’ll make an effort to get you guys a paired down version of hero missions and talent trees so that a huge portion of the past 3 years wasn’t a waste,” I’d have infinitely more respect for them. Well, not infinitely, but more.
I want an apology from Activision for ruining Blizzard.
I don’t expect it of course. But that’s what I want.
I would like a hug from them. Maybe then they could also break my spine alongside their promises.
Personally I’d like another legendary skin I can spend $20 on.
I’ve been complaining since before ow2 was even announced.
PvE was my excuse to switch to something more casual (and still OW related) that I could play with my friends because PvP is so competitive it’s just not fun for them.
I will say I’m not complaining about lack of PvE because there’s nothing to complain about. I’m just not interested enough in the PvE they are offering to complain about it (if that makes sense). You can take that disappointment as a complaint if you want I guess. Complaints are still a ramification of what they said they’re going to release vs what they’re actually releasing. All that hype and hope has to go somewhere.
If my complaints are directed anywhere at this point it’s directed at 3 events.

Their announcement of PvE story.
They kinda over sold it. Part of me felt they couldn’t do it and the other part thought about how cool it would be if they did pull it off. That hope for a full fledged Co-op game was ultimately what I’m disappointed in the most. A PvE campaign is what pulled a lot of momentum for me as a player going into a new Overwatch game. -
Releasing PvP.
They simultaneously released PvP while developing PvE and didn’t giving us enough information about what was going on with PvE. Blizzard protected the PvE story too much to preserve an impactful launch. If they had a more transparent communication style, it wouldn’t be a shock that PvE story missions weren’t coming. I’ve funded a couple games that never released through patreon and haven’t been upset because the devs on those games shared so much of the process. including their personal lives and well being because their mental health is actually extremely relevant (I’m not being sarcastic). -
The actual announcement that there wouldn’t be a PvE campaign.
It seemed like rushed news and like they gave it the band-aid treatment. I’m sure I could think of possible ways that announcement could’ve gone better in hindsight but it probably went the best it was going to. It still happened though.
PVE.
My money back.
Four years of my life back.
Indeed, it feels more like an activision caused problem rather than a Blizzard caused problem.
I just hope microsoft puts things back in the rail
Not to be lied to for gain? You know, the opposite of fraud.
OW1
(Still need 20 characters)
Tell that to Bobby Kotick’s shills constantly kissing that creepo’s feet.
Bobby Kotick in jail.
