If they want to remove the PvE mode, AKA breaking their promise, at least have the generosity to give us CONTINUOUS Lore dumps of the Lore. There is a silent majority who is actually interested in the Lore of the game and to see the kindle die out with ESPORTS being their priority is a sad thing to see.
My Solution is if they don’t have the staff… at least ask for a hand; to have the community who knows the characters well and are hungry to make stories make Overwatch Lore dumps and Blizzard nick picks the ones they think are good, integrate them into canon after revising the fan-made story.
Don’t have to ask for a reward from the passionate writers out there who are more than willing to do so other than a fair shout-out to them.
Laugh all you want but the little additions of Heroes every now and then and a tini wini cinematic isn’t going to cut it.
Considering they canned all the story people, it wouldn’t be a bad idea if it wasn’t for the fact Blizzard mismanages everything. Managing stories from random people and making sure it all connects would be a nightmare (For blizzard, at least) to handle
Well at least we got something every four to five months like Storm’s Rising, Uprising and what not. It was at least ‘something’ and not nothing.

EDIT 2: Yeah it will be a logistical nightmare for sure, give that job to me and i’ll do it for free, I’m sure others will as well. And that’s why i said Nit-picking so that they can have an easier time revising to make it all combine. Easier said than done, sure but at least give it a shot before making false assumptions.
Listening to the community is what took them to this situation in the first place.
Each and every of their games are horrendous. It started with Starcraft II when they decided to listen to the community and make the fastestest game speed the normal speed.
A complete joke for whoever liked the first Starcraft for its strategy.
EDIT: Additionally, that is a very bold statement to make because Blizzard did not give us PvE mode and blatantly said ‘we can’t do it so we’re scrapping it’ even though they promised. So no, they decided not to listen to the community and look how that turned out (check steam reviews for more)
