I was initially super bummed we wouldn’t get a new map this season. (Still am.) But holy heck, we have some amazing drops for day one.
Weighty map changes, hero mastery drop third season in a row, best game mode they’ve ever added to the game, ADJUSTABLE MIC! (super big for me as a guy who shares music in comms) I was expecting a lot of these changes way later.
Are they actually locking in an trying to keep up with the competition? If they are then they’re still not doing enough, (faster hero and map drops, chop chop) but I’ll be damn satisfied for the next week or so.
I do like the map changes. We might not have a new map, but I will happily take 4 map reworks over that.
Especially the Numbani changes. I did not dislike the old map, but I am really digging these new changes to it. 
I would. Continuing to make excuses not to make a new map every odd season sucks.

Yeah. And new maps are exciting, so I do enjoy them as well! That excitement is unparalleled. But knowing the reason we are not getting them is because of this - 4 reworked maps - makes me happy still. I understand why they didn’t release a new map, and I’m cool with it.
