Big NO to the Junkrat nerf

ok? it still takes time for some people like me, took me a bit to learn. some people are faster learners yk

i legit can just go on an edge and do it

it teleports the tire to the ground and he can get kills with a snap of a finger, there wont probably be someone left to kill him

again, i can just go to an edge, and press q

cool? you probably took too long or had something like a dva bomb destroy it

Which, lets be honest- is something mercy is designed to do in the first place.

And this does not.

It could require the player to pat their stomach and rub their head in a circle while whistling Dixie, I wouldn’t care- the result of what it does, does not belong.

You seem to be frequently making the argument that “well it’s super niche and weak anyways and only works on oblivious bad enemies”

If that’s the case- then it especially needs to go. It’s unpractical? Terrible to use? Not reliable against half decent enemies? Only pub stomps bad players?

No, just common sense to look down when you see an junk ult on a ledge.

Context pls

Idk what’s happening

yeah hold on let me shoot the tire that instantly teleported down infront of me. you can easily spam click m1 and bam

I agree that Dragon Blade is more difficult to pull out entirely than doing this bug. It’s true, but this bug is situational and requires of so many things to go right to be pulled out.

Do it consistently, every match. If you can do it just go get those noobhunter clips.

Yeah, and with Genji I can press q and kill everybody. The same example. It requires timing and good knowledge of the ability, no matter what. I tell you from a perspective of somebody who has been some time to be able to pull it out fairly well in some situations only. Have been for some time practicing it. So it’s obvious that I’m not gonna believe that somebody just presses Q and does it instantly. It just doesn’t fit with my experience.

She’s not designed to do it, but it’s a bug that adds more play.

None of both were designed to do that.

Superjump belonged since Blizzard said that they liked the mechanic. There was actually a long discussion like this about super jump. Exactly the same, people hating it and liking it because it was a bug and Mercy’s design wasn’t supposed to be like this.

When did I say it was weak? You’re inventing. It works if people doesn’t have enough awareness to see you’re in an edge of a corner.

PTR patch notes Junkrat had this bug which people thinks doesn’t require skill and we’re discussing if it should be in the game or not.
My words are that it adds more play to the character, it doesnt make him so linear and it’s situational so I don’t understand the removal

no its not? genji can get incredibly easy countered fyi

i know how to do it and i can do it very well, i cant do it consistently for some reason tho, prob because im too close

The fairness is in the balance of the hero himself. Look how much he’s played in OWL this year… 'nuff said. It’s extremely difficult to use Junkrat in high ranks, and basically impossible in OWL.

As if I wasn’t a Genji main and I didn’t know it. Look at my profile almost Genji otp. The thing is that your arguments have the same background as what I said about Genji.

Comparing a non-damage ability with a mass damaging, teleporting ability.

It’s a bug that can make Tire uncounterable. It’s going live

Comparing a bug that wasn’t intended and that adds skill ceiling to a character to another ubg that wasn’t intended and adds skill ceiling to a character… Depends on the perspective. I’m talking about a design perspective not about realism.

It’s a one time working play that adds skill ceiling to a character and can be messed up with horrendous results.

your comparing dragonblade with riptire. this argument is over since you cant provide good details, im gonna stop replying now. ta ta :kissing_heart::wave:

I mean both of the bugs greatly improve the hero

giving junk spots that let him pretty much tp tires without being inside the team and giving mercy a form of vertical mobility that isn’t reliant on teammates actually being in the air such as pharah are both pretty big changes

that being said, the difference is junk is not a good hero, he never was, and using the tech required you to already not only play a bad hero but play in risky positions most of the time above the team

and it was a one time thing, if you did the tech again nine times out of ten you were dead cuz unless people u were playing against were dumb they just looked up and killed u

It can still be uncounterable and has no place in the game

I say tire drop is ok

If mercy gets to keep her bug that makes her slightly better y shouldn’t rat

Except one does damage with barely any reaction time vs a moth jumping up into the air.

hahaha good one. you can’t rebate my arguments so you just leave. good bye see you soon complaining about cree

Well this one only works once, it’s situational, it’s hard to pull out

And the other one brings immense survivability, less risky to pull out and way easier to do

No it doesn’t. It’s a cheese move on Junkrat’s part. It in no way increases his skill ceiling at all.

If he’s that close, you would’ve died anyway.
