Big latency issues

Hi there I wanna ask for help before I pay 10€ a month.
I experience huge delays like one whole second with only 40ms. My guess is that this happens because of packetloss.
I told this to my ISP but they say “everything is working” not true btw.
Haste says otherwise even if it is just a little. However Haste doesn’t work maybe because I live in the EU.
Wtfast works tho and even with a higher latency (50ms) my game feels lag free and waaaaay easier.

Well I don’t wanna pay for enjoyable online games my ISP should figure this out. Is there anything I can do before I pay for higher ping? :joy:

Usually 120ms ping, now 350ms and still able to win deathmatches ://. Can’t imagine how cool it is playing with 20ms.

Howdy!

If a VPN helps a fair bit with this issue then we may be dealing with a routing problem. Can you try to capture the problem with a WinMTR, the goal is to run the WinMTR test to the server you are playing on when the issue is at it’s worst. Keep the test running for 10 minutes and copy the text to clipboard then post it back here for review. Make sure to do this test with no VPN running.
