The community seems pretty split with this decision with everyone either claiming victory or threatening to boycott. A better change imo might be to change the overheal from temporary armor to shields instead. That way Brig keeps her identity of having an overheal ability but It’s not as hard to deal with because the dmg mitigation of armor is now gone.
Does this seem like a fair compromise?

Temporary shields don’t really make sense, as the only benefit shield health has is that it regenerates, which for temporary… does not make sense.
Maybe just an overheal with normal health would do.
Or armor that immediately starts decaying, at a bit of a slower rate than it currently does on live.
Torbjorn would probably disown her if she started dabbling in shield tech.
Well I appreciate that you are looking for a compromise, but thematically shields don’t make sense for her.
I don’t believe that the armor should be removed, because Brigitte is a proactive healer rather than a reactive one. She gives people extra durability rather than waiting for them to take damage to heal. So I don’t think it should be taken away.
However, if they really do seriously think the armor is unbalanced, she needs a buff to her healing capabilities to compensate. Either the heal duration of repair pack needs to be increased to 3 seconds at the same rate, or the cooldown needs to come down to about 4 seconds.

I think the benefit of shield hp is that it would decay where the armor just disappears. Overall armor is still better but shield hp is still good to have. Better than nothing she has now 
Not quite sure if it’s a misunderstanding or if you don’t know how it currently works, but the armor decays as well, just relatively fast.
and you can just make is decay more gradually as well. I don’t think shield hp is the only thing that decays as so far we haven’t had any shield heath that decayed if I remember correctly.
I just revealed how little I play Brig 
. So maybe the shields decay slower? I doubt this would ever come to the game…I’m just thinking of anything to make both sides happy.

I like playing Brig and am okay with nerfs, but yeah experimental is just overkill imo.
Your suggestion would be a nice compromise I am okay with. Hell, I would be okay with no overheal if they would buff other areas, but currently, she got the overarmor nerf, along with making her shield way worse.
