As most players on here know, a good Support comp is generally a mix of burst heals and utility. Support comps with ONLY raw healing (Bap + Moira, Ana + Moira, Ana + Bap) can work under certain circumstances but aren’t really optimal.
My personal favorites are Ana + Lucio, Bap + Zen, Ana + Brig and Bap + Brig. I suppose Bap + Mercy can work as a Support duo with high healing and mild utility as well, where the Mercy will mostly focus on damage boosting. Edit: I forgot Moira + Brig, it can be pretty decent. Moira + Lucio too, even though both are weak in high ranks atm

Zen and mercy are my favorite ones, zen provides the damage and mercy provides the heals. Ana zen is also good, zen can heal the flankers and ana can heal the tanks. I don’t understand why a lot of players love lucio, the speed is nice but I take damage over speed any day.

My favorite is Brig + Zen.
Fights don’t have to be long.

Ana + brig. Good burst healing, with double stun nade compo.
Brig + Lucio and Mercy + Bap are my favorites when playing support myself.
Ana Mercy is the easiest and safest support combo to pull off. I don’t much care for Ana Lucio cuz that leaves the dps kind of on their own.

If the other Support play a great Ana, I can just frag with Zenyatta as an example, if we need a bit more healing and peel I go Brigitte.
If I have a Mercy I useally go either Ana or Brigitte depanding on Map, Comp and/or enemy picks.
As a tank (Reinhardt Main) I love a supportive Lucio and obviously friendly Ana, but also Mercy is allways nice nowadays for some Dmg-boost on hammer swings tbh.
When I play Sombra (as example) I rly love to have a Zen on my team and focus discorded enemies (espacially the enemy Zenyatta ^^’).
So it depands.
Baptiste isn’t raw healing compared to Moira. Baptiste and Ana are burst healing and tend to be on the lower end. Moira is healing over time, like Mercy, Zenyatta and Lucio.
In this case, Baptiste + Mercy, Moira, or Lucio works fairly well as it keeps healing fairly steady and constant. Ana plus Moira, or Brigitte is also a fairly good combination.
Zenyatta and Baptiste aren’t very good as the healing output is generally too low. Lucio and Zenyatta also doesn’t work too well.
Bap and lucio can fit in almost any team Comp
Ana brig is my favourite.

Not even a month ago, that comp was meta.
Now THATS a dead oldschool lineup, killed off by the vast amounts of powercreep brought by new hero releases.

Moira Brig is surprisingly strong sometimes. If the Brig can be aggressive enough to trigger Inspire consistently, mix it with Healing (Potato) Orb and Mashed Potato Spray and you can pull out a ton of healing. Plus, Rally plus a Healing Oriented Coalescence is usually cancer to play against.

For most ranks the healer comp most likely to lead to success is Ana plus either Mercy or Zen (Zen if the enemy aren’t running flankers/dive tanks, or if your team is running something like Ball that is often out of LoS).
What? Bap is a great healer who outputs 60 HPS AoE. Current Meta is Zen + Mercy, and Mercy outputs 55 HPS single target. Bap Zen is more than enough healing for a team (safer than Mercy + Zen I’d say). I’m not even a great Bap and have pulled Bap Zen off multiple times in Comp with a very high level of success.
For people saying Zen + Ana, the problem with this comp is that it is way too vulnerable to dive. It can work depending on the enemy comp and depending on how good the supports are at peeling for each other. Brig is better at peeling for Ana, for example and IMO Bap is better at peeling for Zen than Ana is.
Great healer, sure. But not at 60 health per second. You gotta factor in travel time, the possibility of a miss, and the possibility that the shot will only hit one target.
In situations where the team remains constantly clustered together, Baptiste will shine, but in more divided formations and compositions; Baptiste is barely better than Zenyatta when it comes to healing.
But again, healing in Overwatch is less about healing, and more about mitigating damage. And Mercy remains head and shoulders above Baptiste in that regard, and that’s okay.
Moira + Lucio. Literally Moira’s only synergy. Plus they are both mobile supports. So being slow isn’t a problem for them. Not to mention they both have great AoE healing (Although Lucio’s needs Amp it Up).
Ana + mercy or zen + mercy.
Ana + lucio and moira + lucio is also fun
My personal favorite is Ana/Zen. Both like long sightlines they can use to control the fight, and both put out a crazy amount of poke damage with Zen’s immense shield pressure and Ana’s ability to help with some solid chip damage. They also synergize well as healers, with Zen being able to give flankers their constant 30 hp/s and Ana allowing to let that single-target healing shine on her tanks. They also are able to peel for eachother decently if they stick together, since Ana and Zen are by no means bad duelists. They’re susceptible to flankers, of course, but by no means should any healer duo be unbeatable.
I like any main healer (moira bapt ana) with a mercy personally
