My most played heros (roadhog,sombra, and lucio) feel really good with the circle reticle so I prefer it but I was wondering if theres any actual data showing that for example cross hairs or dot is actually better
I Feel like cross hairs help line my shots up more but with heros like roadhog and sombra who have a considerable amount of spread I feel like circle helps me land the most bullets and I just can’t use dot to save my life and circle and cross hair is as worthless as it is ugly
try experimenting with the size of the crosshair?
I would say to mix and blend. Heroes that have spread could have dynamic or static circles and for heroes that’s primary fire is more linear use a dot or crosshairs.
Just experiment different crosshairs for different heroes in the practice range.
Depending on hero.
For Projectile heroes I use circle with no dot to show projectile size.
For Heroes with spread I use circle with no dot to show spread.
For McCree and Widow I use crosshair with no dot and a small gap, use the negative space to aim.
For Melee or Aimless heroes I use dot to minimise screen usage.
For me as widow I have two I switch between all the time
Just a dot (Good for concentrating)
A small + crosshair with a space in the middle (Found it better for flicking)
I use a small green crosshair on most heroes, mostly because that’s what the streamers I was watching used.
