I am so tired of using ShareFactory. It has zero options, and weird nonsense limitations. I’ve heard good things about Davinci Resolve, and Im not a fan of OpenShot. I’m thinking I’ll just import all my clips from my PS4 into my pc.
Same question from me. I was using Windows Movie Maker (the version a third party made compatible with Windows 10), but it seems to have issues with the latest Windows update.
I actually downloaded OpenShot just last night as an alternative, but I haven’t tried it yet. What didn’t you like about it?
When I tried rendering it, it started skipping frames. I thought it was my PC lag, so I uploaded it still, but it skipped frames on my phone too.
I don’t think you can get any decent program for free. Most people use Adobe Premiere elements because it is quite cheap for editing software. Gives you all the basic bells and whistles, but you can do more advanced things if you experiment.
… Well, that’s pretty bad. I’ll look out for any sign of that when I try it.
Take a look at Shotcut. I’ve used it at work for a couple video projects.
Does it have keyframes/special effects?
Try Lightworks
20 char

When transferring from PS4 to PC use a thumbdrive so you don’t have to upload it and redownload it losing quality

Use lightworks, it is good for what you are trying to do and free

I also would recommend using some sort of Youtube downloader to get music for your videos
Oh, by the way, I’ve tried DaVinci Resolve before. I had also heard good things about it from multimedia friends, but I was completely turned off of it when it couldn’t even directly read MP4 H.264 encoded files, which are the most common format.
Might I suggest Premiere Rush, which is a freemium tool, from the company that makes Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
thanks for the tips
Youre welcome, feel free to reach out if you have any more questions.
I believe it has keyframes. Haven’t looked too much into the more advanced features. Feature list can be found on the shotcut site. Can’t post a direct link.
Would go with Davinci Resolve

Currently doing the tutorial for this, and so far its pretty good. Gonna explore a bit more within the app.
Idk if it’s on pc but I use Videoleap for my phone to edit. It has a bunch of features for free, and is only $69 to get the premium version which allows you to layer more features in a video and I plan on getting it
