Does sombra even deserve a nerf.
Statistically she is balanced. The only thing that goes beyond player reaction time and counter play is the hack speed.
Don’t understand why people want her to go back to not being played at all. Guess tracer and co will remain the go tos
no she is completely fine beyond that people think the can remove the .1 grace period of hack and leave the hack speed everyone thinks “IT’S gonna bring her to F-tier she need the .1 of LOS immunity” she really doesn’t
She’s fine apart from hack speed and shutting off Lucio’s song. The only people I see arguing for more nerfs are in lower elos.

Quite the opposite, people will think that will make her not annoying then quickly realise it makes very little difference.
Either revert the hack speed or add a longer delay after hack gets interrupted and remove the .1 second grace period and I think she’ll be fine
All are good options and just 1 will make her feel more fair. Honestly doesn’t need anything else
Maybe make hack affect Lucio in a less hard way by disabling wallride or current aura, not both.

Same with getting killed, which many heroes will execute more quickly than Sombra can.
It’s not even the official hack speed that’s a problem, it’s the leeway the hack is given. If the animation is still going off and you break LOS, or take a hit, the animation will still finish. If I’m Rein and I turn my shield to the little red lines and block them, they need to be stopped.
Everything else is fine, and it sucks that Sombra is getting nerfed after finally being good.
Also, hack should NOT remove Lucio’s songs, only amp and wallride.
This leeway is overstated, I think they will go ahead and change it, but it won’t change how people feel about Hack.
But she absolutely Will need compensation and further buffs. She isn’t a strong hero.

I’m not overstating the leeway because it happens all the time as Reinhardt. I can expect it and react right as the sound plays and turn (my Rein cursor speed is at 100 btw) it still goes off, even when completely blocked by the shield.
She absolutely would not need a buff if all they did was take away the grace period.
She would because it’s a direct nerf to a weak hero statistically.
You’re saying the grace period isn’t that big a deal, but you’re also saying it’s big enough a deal that she would need a buff if she didn’t have it?
I think a case could be made that hack does too much to Lucio, but my only real complaint with Sombra is the hack speed.
Her hack is fine. All I want is to be able to destroy the translocator in order to counter her “oh boy my health is looking pretty low down there how about i leave to have some dinner and come back to finish this support as dessert” get out of jail free card. Sure I could wait 20 seconds to see if sombra teleports and see if I can out dps the health pack she’s camping… but I rather there be an actual counter to this.
I’m saying she needs buffs with or without that change frankly. If she got that nerf then it would be even more imperative.
