Being stuck in tutorial?

I’ve been playing Overwatch for a few years now and my account got wiped.
I decided I’d play the tutorial so that I can at least try the new heroes, but I’ve been stuck in the tutorial mode and it won’t let me progress.
“Press triangle to view hero stats” on PS4 and I’m pressing it, nothing happens… I’ve pressed every button incase the control was different, but still nothing… i’ve checked my settings for controls, can’t find anything wrong.
I deleted and reinstalled, still hasn’t changed anything.
I’ve not came across anyone else with this issue and it’s really frustrating.
I’d love to at least try the new game, but I can’t even do that.

Anyone else stuck on the tutorial mode like me ?

Figured out a solution. You can go into options and change the key binding for ‘view hero details’ from triangle to something else. Worked for me.

My son had the same problem. I firgured it out. You have to be in the hero menu and then click triange to complete the checkmark. Hold square to get into the hero menu btw. Ps4 plqyer here
