There’s a reason why i always recommend that beginners start in ai.
In lethal, you learn the basics of taking cover. In hard, you learn the basics of the gamemodes. In normal, you have time to experiment with character abilities and explore the maps.
And once able to beat up lethal with no issues, they’ve graduated from bronze and can go to qp to learn how to play against people. Building on top of their map knowledge and aimbot dodging skills.
It’s a much nicer introduction to the game than being tossed into the deep end of a shark pool.

weird - I just tried this out myself a few days ago - I too had fun just goofing around on the old assault maps. Not sure why I never tried it until recently
