Remember when Ana was first nerfed to the ground, and Mercy took her place as the “go-to healer” since at the time, there weren’t any other main healers? Titanium warned that they’d target Mercy next for massive nerfing.
Cue Blizzard giving Mercy a stupidly OP rework, forcing her to dominate the game for almost an entire year, even though no Mercy main asked for it, and salty Ana mains kept being snide and sneering at how their precious “high skill” healer couldn’t compare to Mercy 2.0, even though no Mercy main wanted this garbage situation.
Well, Mercy has had her 14th nerf now. So, if Mercy actually does remain shot down this time, Ana will take her place. What will you do then, when people start demanding nerfs for your precious grandma again? Knowing Blizzard’s undeniable genius when it comes to balancing and reworking heroes, just be very afraid for Ana’s future. She’ll get her time in the limelight, but will the cost down the road be worth it?

There’s a huge difference between being used a lot (because filling a key role) and balanced v being used a lot due to being overpowered. Rein is a great example of the former while Ana seems to be there now. They shouldn’t nerf balanced characters used a lot. There is no issue.

Then came Lucio, and then Mercy.

I see no problem with that.
Ana always should have been the go to for the higher levels of play; the effort to do well with Ana should relate to the skill of the player.
There’s really only a finite amount you can do with Mercy’s kit; Ana has so much more potential that rewards skilled plays.
The fact that they had to nerf Mercy SOOOO many times kind of goes to show that she WAS way too good in every rank for the effort put in.
Mercy is still decent; her team just needs to understand that she isn’t the end all be all support anymore and play smarter.
She was able to undo a kill, and heal 200 hp in 3 seconds. People get too used to playing unsafe and poorly when they know someone else can undo their mistakes.

And then you remember how Ana mains cried so much and so loudly that their precious OP Grandma was getting nerfed that they reverted her Bio-Nade nerf after only 1 day on the PTR.

On PS4, Ana STILL isnt good enough to be completely better than Mercy like she is on on PC. Instead, Moira just got a MASSIVE indirect buff (and one actual buff). Moira is now the go-to healer imo on PS4.
Maybe ana has another long lost son/daughter with children. Probably not tho

Yes, i totally agree.
I think that all the Healer classes are perfectly balanced right now.
They all have their niche. They all have their Elo demographic.
In fact, as i mentioned in other threads, the Mercy mains should actually be glad of the “nerf” because now, Mercy requires so much more resource management in terms of time vs heal vs buff and who they should priortise. This would totally take away the argument that Mercy is “no-skill” for obvious reasons.
Plus, because the “Mercy-as-solo-heal” meta is going to be kinda thrown out the window soon, it is almost certain that 2 healers should be in a group and that takes the healing stress off a Mercy player.
