Battlepass progress?

Hi Community,

How do you feel about Battlepass progress?

So far, I don’t like it compared to other Battlepasses, I feel like there’s not a catch up mechanic.

Only dailies and weeklies that sometimes if I can’t play that week but I’ve free time on a weekend, I can try to do some but that doesn’t guarantee that I’ll complete all.

For example, I also played Fornite and Dead by Daylight :

  • DBD has a series of challenges that you can complete at any point of the battle pass duration and it’ll help you to progress the battle pass.

  • And Fortnite has a similar approach with Weekly quest that doesn’t expire until the end of the current season.

Maybe OW could have better seasonal challenges, the current ones provide really low experience, IMO.

Does anyone else feel the same? Or It’s just me that I’ve not played enough.

It’s incredibly boring once you hit level 80, which is fairly quick.

Really, but are you playing all days for every single daily? or just some days and some weeklies challenges.

Was until like a week and a half ago, stopped doing that once I hit 60. Since then just played a little every day or every other day and now I’m up to 130.

Competitive, Unranked? Arcades?
Which mode provides the better XP?

I only completed tier 60 tonight. And frankly, I’m playing far more than I should be just to get to that. The problem is we don’t all have the same amount of time.

That’s my point about seasonal challenges with better xp, for example, sometimes I got into business trips and i can’t play for 2-3 weeks :S

im int he 120 range though im trying ot aim to fully complete it by the end of the season so i can have some stuff roll over to the next season

Exhausted…

It’s indeed very boring and repetitive. The weekly challenges are off-putting and take a lot of time to grind just to earn 60 coins…

Won’t happen anytime soon… They can’t even release two balance patches within a season. The fact that we got an Halloween event is already too big of an effort from their part. Can’t expect more.

Most people feel that way, especially those that are OG Overwatch players who are looking for a new experience and not something recycled from 6 years ago with very little new content. It’s not you, trust me.

Season 3 will not even have a new hero so this specific season will be the worst when it comes to grinding the Battle Pass.

(Only season 1 and 2 will offer a brand-new hero then it will be one hero only every other season which means no new hero for season 3-5-7-9 and so on).

I don’t want to play the game everyday, because I also play WoW. I think that Blizzard is damaging even their own games by doing a battle pass that doesn’t have some sort of catch up with challenges that doesn’t expire and provide good experience. Sometimes I want to play just a whole afternoon during a weekend but after I completed most of the weekly challenges, each match doesn’t provide too much experience. That’s my feeling.

Also, my main DPS Mei is disable

I’ve been doing the weeklies and grinding challenges for titles (and playing CTF when it’s in the arcade).

…I’m at 191 now I think.

Unfortunately the game doesn’t show the time played for this season, only the overall since OW1. Maybe it’s because I play less that others or other players are playing a ton of this game. I’m just worry for future seasons while I’ve some business trips / vacations without access to the game and also my time distribution with other games like WoW once DF launch.

Personally I’d quit WoW since even with how cool DF looks, the company’s management is just too abhorrent for words. I’d personally wait for the private server cricles to get their hands on it.

Also I didn’t say my time played was a good thing. I no-life this game because I don’t know what else to do until PvE gets here. If it ever does.

I was expecting the BP grind to take forever but it’s honestly not bad at all.
