I reinstalled Battlenet as it kept logging me out despite having the box checked to keep me logged in. Now after reinstalling it, every time I open Battlenet it makes a popup to ask if it can make changes to my computer. This wouldn’t bother me too much, but it also continues to keep doing it at random intervals if the app is open (or running in the background). This keeps tabbing me out of games. I have tried reinstalling it again, restarting my computer and making the program run as admin and it still does it.

I’ve had this happen as well! I just did a new PC build, and the updater keeps trying to request permission.

Yeah! This is happening to me as well! It is pretty frustrating when im doing a mythic.

It’s a Windows 11 issue. You can:
- Run as admin every time
- Disable notifications
- Set Bnet to close on game launch
- Opt into Bnet beta
I’m on Windows 10. I have already got it set so it runs as admin every time. I would also prefer to not disable all notifications of apps trying to make changes to my PC just because of Battlenet. I’ll try opting into the beta and see how that goes though, thank you.
Yeah I understand, I probably wouldn’t either. I’ve been on the beta version a long time and never run into any of the issues I see pop up, so I can only recommend it.
