I launched Battle.net, it asked me to check the terms of agreement. I clicked ok and it launched the browser to (http) localhost:0/?ST%3DUS-(BUNCH OF RANDOM NUMBERS/LETTERS)&accountId=(SOME RANDOM ID)&flow_type=login_challenge
And now the client is stuck.
I just got the same thing, but my client seems to be fine.
I have the same issue, Battle.net also logged me out and i don’t trust things sometimes so i haven’t logged in yet, did you get logged out too?
I also had to log in to battle.net again. I figured accepting the new TOS agreement had something to do with the new Diablo launching today. Not sure why I was sent to a site with a bad gateway, though. That did concern me. Battle.net did still load normally after going through authenticator.
Same thing just happened to me. Definitely shouldn’t be redirecting to localhost.
What could’ve happened is that the client was trying to access an address with a different, legitimate domain, but whichever variable held the domain to be accessed was null so the default domain was used which is, of course, localhost.
how to resolve this? battlenet is not working now

Also not working for me, I contacted support but they seem uncertain about it
Hello, have you found any solutions? I have the same problem with the Localhost URL, I can’t connect to Battle.net at all and I can’t install any games from GamePass.
Just to add to this, I attempted to look for any open ports for localhost and found that battle net does infact open one, manually replacing this in the url doesn’t work.
I also installed battle net on my Mac to see if on the off chance it was a problem with the windows client, however it also happens on the mac client…
Stumped…
For those of you wanting to access your games, you can click the open launcher without logging in feature, I was able to access WoW with a manual authenticator code…
hopefully this gets fixed… very frustrating
I need help with this please!
I have the same problem. The Battle-Net app (PC) tries to open a URL after login, which is not allowed by the browser.
I’am not allowd do add links in this post. The following URL starts with http
URL: ://localhost:0/?ST=US-(Numbers and letters)&flowTrackingId=®ion=EU&accountName=(my email address)
Same problem here. How to fix it? Already reinstalled the launcher but didn’t help.
same sh1t. waiting for response
I’ve been told that its a problem to be resolved with xbox by support, which doesn’t make any sense. I have pushed back with clarity…
