I’m in the US east region running on Proton through Steam. As of 2025-12-12 @ ~1:30pm EST I am unable to connect to Battle net services. On launching Overwatch, I get the persistent message: “DISCONNECTED BY BATTLE[dot]NET SERVICES”.
My client is now endlessly cycling between “SEARCHING FOR GAME SERVER” and “ENTERING GAME” followed by the error message I mentioned above.
Same in EU, Germany. GF has no problems (gtx 1070) … maybe new AMD driver related (rx 6800)?

What platform are you on? A new OW2 client was released about 30 minutes ago for Xbox and Playstation users. Make sure you’re on 145112.

According to Steam I’m on Build ID 21140591 - but it seems like it has resolved itself. I can connect and play games just fine now, thanks!
EU servers seems to be lagging, can’t find/connect to servers, switched to Asia and go in immediately…
I am on that patch and it still won’t let me in, getting the error message and having to repeat it for the past hour.
On Xbox, I’ve been trying to get in game for an hour now, fails to connect to game server. I’ve taken the console off power and different networks. All my friends both on PS5 and PC are playing just fine. I don’t know what to do, I can’t even switch servers before trying to log in.

Ditto, on PC, with region set to Europe. Switched to Americas and got past the login screen successfully.

I’m on Steam version 145112 and I still can’t join after 2 hours. Even tried reinstalling my game.
