Bastion died with double shield nerfs.

But you need know its still playable (problems only in gm), but with really good team (really good team stay only in gm)

Overbuff isnā€™t untrustworthy. THatā€™s not how statistics work.

Bastion dosent need buffs, his flaws are his design as a whole. He needs a rework.

Fully agree on Bastion, but Sombra only saw pro play and was bad on ladder and she payed for it with heavy nerfs in an environment where you cant even play goats anymore. So, its not like that was a positive thing.

He needs to be reworked into a tank heā€™s a mess currently with being OP at low ranks and useless at high ranks

Bastion is not even OP in low ranks.
He has a negative winrate in bronze.

But yeah he needs rebalancing. Bein stationary for most of the game is simply not viable unless you make the hero completely broken like when he had ridicilous Ironclad dmg reduction.

He needs a better recon mode.

the dev team donā€™t want niche heroā€™s to be played often it feels like ;).

Since the ā€œnicheā€ heroes arent even good in their niche, would actually seem they dont want them played at all. Why bother investing time into learning a niche hero if you could just learn a generalist and be just as successful if not more successful than the niche heroee?

They need more time(rework, maybe it comes with OW2 or because of OW2 they dont have time/resources to the rework yet) to make bastion more viable to the game in general, after all they removed bunker comps(where bastion excels) because the playerbase didnā€™t liked it.

But with bastionā€™s buff, iā€™ve seen him countless times survive dragonblade.
So itā€™s even harder to kill him now in lower ranks.
