I would love it if I could change sensitivity while in sentry mode independently of my recon and tank mode sensitivity! When in sentry mode, I’d love to have a higher sensitivity so I can change targets faster, but I don’t want to mess up my recon aim at the same time.

This would help on console dramatically.
A lot of controller fine tuning is done by left stick, or actual character movement, in combination with aiming.
Or at least for me.
I cant even pretend to hit anything in sentry mode. If I could have a different sensitivity for sentry would be great.

It’s been asked for before but it’s one of those things where it would help a lot/ maybe QoL but nothing really happens. A gold tank gun has been asked for before as QoL and a team opacity slider (when teamates get close they become more transparent) has also been asked for but it never goes anywhere.
I still want it though. I use a button on my mouse to increase my sensitivity while in sentry but it would be nice if it were automatic.
“Nothing really happens” just means it would be relatively easy to implement! Better chance of actually getting put in the game.
In fact, it’s been done before with the tweak on Ana’s relative aim sensitivity while scoped recently.
