You’re just to slave to your healers without it. The grenade serves very little purpose outside of giving him some mobility but that isn’t worth the heal removal tradeoff. I dislike his ult over his last one too since it’s incredibly easy to avoid but I don’t hate him overall outside the removal of his heal.
You can’t force him into recon for the majority of the match where his hitbox is literally the same size/bigger than tanks and remove the thing that keeps him alive in this mode in OW1 then expect him to work. If you give him back his heal IMO it would make the overall “rework” better than OW1 Bastion but without it he just sucks to play.
Also return his old “hello” voicelines, the new ones are terrible.
It’s almost like they’ve decided to give him less survivability to compensate for his new movement and high dmg.

Yes, blizzard is gonna see this post and do exactly what you say, and worship you as their god. Seriously, what do people expect when they post stuff like this? Demanding random crap on the forums is not gonna do anything.

You can be a mobile turret. Considering the high dps you get that people complained about in permanent turret mode AND can abuse map cover/heights more.
I mean odds are if you saw a bastion, you know what he was doing. He was sitting in sentry mode waiting for you to be in line of sight. (Those who actually knew how to play bastion knew how to constantly move on top of that)
Now bastion has way more mobility which increased the “OH F#%# WHERE DID THAT BASTION COME FROM” factor by like 9001%.
Since he could only really jump when ulting before, bastion was basically a sitting duck that needed to have another person constantly with him to make sure he was effective.
He is much more viable because of this change. As he is no longer a slow moving target whose only highest sustained damage was when he was a sitting duck like an ulting pharah.
No spread means he can have reliable sustained dmg at even longer ranges. Sticky grenade adds much needed mobility and a defensive option against people trying to rush. The mobile turret allows you to melt people with that complained about damage, and to either chase or get away from your target.
I say heals for that trade is very reasonable.

Except soldier still exists. Who has better movement a smaller hitbox and can output high damage 24/7 with a faster, straight flying projectile unlike Bastions arc’d one. Bastion right now just disintegrates and Soldier outclasses him in everything but their ultimates which are used for different things.
