Bastion is a Problem

In the past seasons, if not OW2’s lifespan, Bastion has been difficult to handle in the game. But as of late, Bastion is now an annoying and if not BROKEN hero to fight against and I’m flabbergasted no one bats an eye to him.

He’s annoying to fight against with his insane damage output and that he mows most of the tanks down in seconds with a team. Sure he has a disadvantage alone in a 1v1, but we can’t avoid the fact that Bastion destroys teams in seconds most of the time.

Also, Bastion has not recieved any considerable nerfs in 0W2 ever since his re-release after his rework bugs, so when the next patch comes around, PLEASE nerf bastion. Here are some of my ideas for nerfing Bastion.

  1. Give him a cooldown on his turret mode before he leaves spawn or even give him a much longer cooldown, around 30 seconds or more.

  2. Reduce the damage output on his turret mode to a moderate degree.

  3. Change Bastion’s Armor HP to normal HP

  4. Give his ult a 0.25-0.3 pause in between shots

I’m not expecting all of these changes to be applied, nor even any of them. I just want Bastion to become easier to manage against in game, that is all I ask.

Learning to work around bastion would also immediately help.

bastion isn’t a problem and he sucks unless nobodys countering him in which if one person counters him it should be considered a throw pick

Extreme characters are always a problem. Extreme damage, extreme barriers, perma-stealth, perma-flying and etc.

Blizz often designs characters that they can’t handle. Then, they limit such heroes underpowered enough so that nobody complains.

Bastion is kinda nerfed lately. You should learn to time his CDs. Don’t hide behind spots where the nades could bounce and hit you.

Also, learn the very basic of FPS: Zig Zagging
It works even against Hit Scans.
