I think someone hates every part of Overwatch TBH.
Having a Solo Tank with only 3 at most being actual Viable Picks, while all Supports and DPS are allowed to keep their Tank-Busting Abilities and Focus that one Tank, whilst Flankers are murdering your Backline because CC doesn’t exist, causing Supports to be Buffed so they can murder you more is also really bad, if not worse than Double Shield EVER was.
Because the tank changes for open queue still promote tank spam, but just the tanks with high HP pools over 400. DVA, Rein, Wrecking Ball, etc.
Their callous change just made the low HP tanks garbage. It kills balance diversity in open queue. People suggested better alternatives under a year ago, so they can’t say they have no valid ideas.
Because that’s a part of the Game that has a ‘COMpeTitiVe mODe’ for some reason.
Just because YOU don’t Play it doesn’t mean no one does. Plus Tanks are just Bad in all Game-Modes, they could at least be a little less Bad in Open Queue.
Original OW was basically no limits. Let us tank players have open queue to get some actual enjoyment playing tank. Here’s a hot take, why should tank players care about role queue?
Throwing in a game mode with “competitive” on the button just means it uses the competitive ruleset. I’m pretty sure the only balance change that exists for OQ was the tank health nerf, otherwise you’re just gonna have to deal with the hand-me-down balance changes you get from RQ.
They shouldn’t. As a tank/flex player, role queue made this game 10000X worse for me. The game was designed from the ground up as a 6 v 6 mode. Winston’s bubble went on cooldown after breaking, there was an “attack/defense” class, etc.
When I played flex, I climbed. Doomfist harassing the back? I’ll go Sombra. The second he swaps off, I go back to tank.
Role queue sucks and 1 tank makes this game even worse.
