Bastion Blizzcon Skin

Well since Sombra Deamon Hunter from Blizzcon is not hidden behind “legacy” anymore, what do I get in week 3 for playing?

Hey can I get the Bastion Blizzcon skin, that came out before virtual tickets were a thing.

Seems fair

Demon Hunter Sombra was advertised from the very beginning to be available later again.

Bastion,Winston and this year skins are not going to be available ever again.

Did that skin say it was going to be released at a later date?

Wasn’t the Sombra skin just an extra reward to the thing you bought?

I just- hmm people

Stop being entitled, you knew from the start Demon Hunter would become available for everyone in 2019.

No it didn’t, A quick google search told me that.

You could get Bastion’s Blizzcon skin through a Virtual Ticket. Scalpers on eBay (well, “scalpers”) have had them on there for quite some time.

500$? Buying multiple tickets and selling them years after has a big profit i see.

Assuming people actually buy them. That I’m not sure about

You could probably get more for this year’s. Two WoW pets, two legendary OW skins, a good HotS mount. If it was a WoW mount it’d be even better.

Well it says the seller sold 4 tickets already. If it was 500$ from the beginning, thats 2000$ already.

Most we should get for already having the skin AND completing Week 3 is in-game currency for a duplicate Legendary. But I suspect Blizzard didn’t think that far ahead.

I’ll say it again, they should have put DH in lootboxes and made Lucio’s “Gorgon” skin the Week 3 reward.

…Or made a recolor for Ticket holders. (Fortnite did it right, by releasing a purple recolor of Skull Trooper if you already owned the original, while those who didn’t already own it got the original.) That would have been the best way to keep their word while still honoring Ticket holders. :man_shrugging:t2:

It’s great Blizzard kept their promise to release DH this year, but making it an event reward kinda shafts players that had bought last years V.Ticket. At least being in a lootbox it would have count as a duplicate. Shame.

nope, it was ammended 12 hours AFTER the tickets were released and not stated when buying the on paper ticket.

As per CS tweet before they changed it hours later and no refunds were to be given, hence the t at the bottom, meaning in legal terms, it was an amendment. the definition of the “t” has been used since for centuaries"In textual criticism and daggers enclose text that is believed not to be original." dates back to 184AD. So not was originally said and the t shows its an ammendment

If only blizzard MENTIONED prior, that they’d be putting the demon hunter skin in the game in 2019 as a non legacy skin.

Oh wait, they actually did.

So what are you complaining about again?

actually no they didn’t, they put in in 12 hours after virtual tickets went on sale, as stated by CS when asked. When the paper tickets went on sale in MAY it was as the CS rep states;

The skin is an exclusive item for Blizzcon attendees and Blizzcon Virtual Ticket holders. It is not available through other means - similar to Blizzcon items in the past.

it’s not a hard concept to grasp they changed the terms regarding the skin 12 hours after it released. It’s not considered a fundamental term, so ppl who bought the ticket expected it to be exclusive were not able to get a refund. That said since the VOD’s were unwatchable, it was the only real thing that virtual ticket holders got. Again no refunds because Blizzard is Blizzard

and from the devs

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new exclusive skin for the Overwatch character Sombra. The company will be holding its BlizzCon event later this year and anyone who purchases a ticket will be able to get the new skin. Called “Legendary Demon Hunter Sombra,” the new skin has arrived in the game now.

Skins are bonusses anyways

… actually… if requested before the event started there were a lot of people who got refunds.

NOTHING ELSE WORKED, the VODs were broken and unwatchable, it’s all ppl got for the ticket. It was said to be a blizzcon exclusive in MAY and then they change it 12 hours after virtual ticket sales went up. You can see CS in the twitter post above saying, it’s a blizzcon exclusive.

the refunds were based on the laws in the country the person resides, since thats where you signed the virtual agreement for the ticket. Only a handful of countries were able to do that, not all, not even most

the “t” at the bottom was an amendment added later.

if they are a “bonus” then why is an apparent virtual ticket for the bastion skin $500? Which you couldn’t activate now anyway… it’s linked to the account that bought it

Alright you got me with that one, pretty bad move of them.

Blizzard aren’t one’s to keep their words anyway.

I remember a time, less than 2 years ago where Jeff was a hard no on Role Queue and then he says “it’s taken us over 2 years to develop” and it is/was a royal mess.

Also where is the Warden 2.0 we are supposed to have that shuts down games that detect hackers and they got an instant ban? They are still everywhere, most games have at least one hacker. They said they were introducing that also… where is it?

People who attend BlizzCon in person get a code for the ingame goodies which is not account bound.

If there are people who are willing to pay 500 bucks for it, that’s entirely their own decision :woman_shrugging:

They implemented a system that ends a game IF someone is getting banned while he is playing.
This system is up and running.

There has never been a single word about “instant bans”.
