I’m loving the idea of giving Bastion an artillery mode. Definitely more consistently useful than Tank Mode, which tends to fizzle when people focus-fire him and requires him to get too close for it to be accurate.
I’ve always wanted a kind of mortar-like weapon, and now it’s all but confirmed. Thank you, Blizzard.
Yeah this one looks like it’ll be fun, I just hope it isn’t a free team wipe with grav/shatter/blizzard
I like the idea of using it straight out of spawn and blasting the point 
I imagine the artillery takes a moment to land, and you’ll see it coming the same way you see Doom’s Meteor Strike coming. Gives you a moment to defend/dodge/etc.
This is infinitely more reliable than Tank. All you gotta do is disengage and head behind cover to use it, quite similar to Junkrat’s tire.
i didnt quite understand the details about sentry mode. they said you can move (slowly) but sentry mode is only for a limited time? they didnt say how long

my main fear with it is potentially cheap spawn kills but we’ll have to wait and see.

Probably. I imagine it functions the same as Doom ult.
Even if you do use cover, the 300 damage blast radius might still clip you if near an opening.
I hope the killfeed has an icon for the 600 damage direct hit.
Also just noticed that he still has his current “tank” cannon in that highlight intro they used…
Presumably it should be a turret as “tank” no longer exists
Well, it’s more like he traded his tank mode for his artillery mode, but both would still use the same cannon. I’m sure other Bastions would have Tank Mode, but Torbjorn gave our Bastion some modifications.
