👋 Based upon these "interviews" I have to make a very clear point to the devs:

Getting rid of mass res was a community suggestion too…but the “true fans” prefer not to mention that part :grimacing:

I remember those threads…

The rest of the forums didn’t take them seriously, just downvoted it into oblivion and teased the op for being salty over Mercy “stealing” PotG from them.

And then mass rez actually got deleted. Man, what a poop show…

once the dva mains roasted “defense matrix riptire guy” and forced him into hiding it all went downhill

they brought it upon themselves

Careful! If you name names, you might get suspended. Especially when that guy is mentioned.

Can I get an amen? The problem with the forums is that everyone is complaining on their own experience.

Wait… What does Voldemort have to do with this??

Forgive me, couldn’t help myself.

Let’s think about this. Jeff was the dev mostly involved with the community, whether that was to explain something, communicate on behalf of the team about some decisions, features and so forth.
Basically he was the public face for Team 4, just like Ben Brode was for Team 5 on behalf of Hearthstone, before his departure.

I think that both Ben and Jeff were doing more than what was required of them as far as communicating with the community, which is why we saw so much more interaction between them and us.

Nowadays with overwatch having reached a “stable and mature” level, i believe Jeff Kaplan has been moved to direct a new ongoing project that will be announced at blizzcon.

With no Jeff and no Ben doing their own thing, the interaction we came to enjoy is gone, or at the very best, limited at a high degree.

Do you hopnestly think the “people” on this forum deserve communication? Have you seen this forum?

Lol, Reddit is a worthless echo-chamber of like-minded sheep. Any dissenting voice is either downvoted into oblivion or outright removed and/or banned. I’d rather spend my time on /b/ than on most subreddits.

It IS an everyday things. Blizzard devs do post on here every day. If you don’t see it, that’s your fault, not theirs.

The dev tracker disagrees.

Do you have some spreadsheets or something?

Erm, posts listed by the dev tracker have timestamps?
Anyone can scroll through the list and see the gaps in there.

For example, if I scroll down a bit, there’s a 7 day gap between Jeff Kaplan’s post on August, 15th and the next Blizzard post, which was 16 hours ago.

Best part about it was when it was brought to their attention Jeff was like “what bugs?”. Completely unaware of a massive Doomfist bug list in the bug report section which gave off the impression that the bug report section is completely ignored.

“Hey, why aren’t you entertaining me on multiple platforms for free and saying exactly what I expect you to?”

W-…What?
How does that even remotely relate to what you said originally?
The devs do not post here every day. That is a fact and is backed up by the dev tracker on these forums.

“Yeah! I paid an amount equal to what you make in 3-5 hours of work, once, a few years ago, and now you’re not feeding me constant entertainment, why are you so lazy and bad?”

Mmm, okay, now you’re starting to make sense. Good riddance chat.

Only TRUE fans whine incessantly about literally every facet of the game. Only filthy casuals actually like things.
