So I heard somewhere that Lucio and Baptiste threw a Halloween party for skins. To keep the Halloween vibes, lucio used his sound barrier to make the sound scarier and Baptiste paid for that upgrade straight out of his very own Regenerative Purse.
Suddenly, Moira burst through the door to the party (which at this point had been going for 30 minutes and no one showed up) and Bap said “ahh mi siesteer! Where is everyone else?” Then Moira replied “Regrettably, I am not currently equipped with the sufficient knowledge to respond to your inquiry in the way you may have hoped. It is my sincere wish that you may be enlightened through some other course of action.”
Baptiste thought this was odd, but quickly dismissed any inkling of suspicion at the thought of more company for the party.
During this time Lucio, who just had a “come to Jesus” moment after finding out that Anthony Fantano reviewed his newest album a 2/10, went back to his DJ booth and changed the song to something very spooky.
This turned out to be the wrong move as Moira’s reaction was to head to the door. Baptiste caught up with her and said “hey now Moira don’t leave please, Lucio can change the song, RIGHT, LUCIO?” he said this last part with wide eyes and gritted teeth. Lucio scrambled to switch the song, but due to his recent consumption of powerful alcohol, he pressed the wrong button and started playing the scary music in reverse. This made Moira tear up, as she doesn’t like scary things. “This is full demonic!” she said, moving toward the door with more urgency.
Baptiste tried to reason with her, but Lucio had accidentally turned the demonic reversed music up and no one could hear anything else. Moira faded out of the building and Baptiste slumped down, defeated.
Finally Lucio managed to turn the music down but it was too late now. The party was doomed. He checked his phone and saw that Moira had sent a strongly worded message to the group chat that implored everyone to not come to the party.
Baptiste and Lucio had failed, but maybe next year they can redeem themselves.
