I mean you might as well just do comp mystery hero mode if the intention is to take away a players choice to choose a character.

You can still choose Heros. There’s just a few per game that won’t be chooseable. Means a little less Cheesing matches, and a little more playing with a variety.

It makes it so that it’s more beneficial to learn multiple heros than just sticking to one. It’s not a surprise that the only people mad at hero bans are those who one trick.
Sure, but some of us would still like a Mystery Heroes ranked to come back. Preferably in the 6v6 format. 
And today on “Over exaggerations that are basically lies” we have OP : Using an hyperbole SO HARD that compares restricting 4 heroes in a game, with more than 40 “Mystery Heroes”.

Also MH Comp mode is still the best mode I’ve played ever, I wish it came back too but this is not the way to do it lol.
A bit melodramatic, but I vibe with it. It’s a party game feature.
