I got banned during a game 5 days ago, and i got email said I’m hacking so got banned. However, I’m a totally green and clean player since overwatch 1, my pc just got reinstall the system and I have no reason to hack.
I submitted the ticket immediately after I got banned, 4 days passed, no one respond me and I can’t find any phone numbers or emails to contact.

You need to fill out an appeal. They won’t do anything for you on forums.
If you use a VPN, that might be an issue.

In the past I have asked blizzard to provide me a working game, or the money I paid for a working game, with.
30 day ban.
Only 5 days? This is Blizzard we are talking about, you have about 2 more weeks of wait time before you get an automated response telling you they closed your ticket.

You might as well just make a new account and play it up to GM. That will take less time than Blizzard responding with a “lol haha im a bot bye” response.
I guess it is starting here, people getting banned and claiming it was a false one. I play Apex and sometimes chill in Overwatch, but holy damn, on Apex forums there are so many “banned for no reason” threads, that at some point I literally felt scared for my own account getting banned for no reason.
However, I spoke with an EA tech guy and asked him about these cases and he told me that there is no such thing and if there is, it happens to several people which turns up as unusual. Nevertheless, when it is individuals and the rates are on average the same throughout the week, then it is most likely somebody that has done something they should not have.
One of the primary reasons for bans according to this guy is that people are still too dumb to setup 2FA, as many accounts have been compromised and then used in illegitimate ways leading to a ban.
Blizzard also has a 2FA and I would assume that the lack of such protection for some might be the reason they are banned. However, no matter which way you look at it, they are still at fault. It is their account and the security is there and many times even pushed to be used, but they disregard it. Then something happens and they complain about it.
Perhaps I have just seen too many people come with some silly excuse why they think they were banned and I know that most of them know exactly why they got banned, but pretend to be clueless. So from this experience, I have my doubts each time someone posts such a thread, especially since it is a very common fact nowadays, that you cannot manage anything regarding your account on forums for any game.
this isnt fortnite, blizzard will ban you for cheating even if you spend money.

Maybe another person using your PC, hacked the game and of course the blizzard anti-cheat detected that, im gona explain you.
If you are using an USB that do “Rare things” like
- Make active the AIM-ASSIST of the gamepad on the kb/mouse
- Increasing the aim-assist of the controller potency over the 100% etc
The other thing can be a FAKE-REPORT in mass, probably you use widowmaker then you was destroying entire-teams legit, maybe you are a GM player “SMURFING” on low ranks, so you got fake-reports in mass about cheating.
I haven’t heard of any serious bans resulting from fake hacking reports. I think they’re more selective about that than they are about issuing a chat silence or something.
Yeah like i said, somebody probably used “Hacks” on his/her pc or maybe the person was smurfing using widow/sojourn on low ranks, destroying “Newbies” so they probably rage and reported for aim-bot on cheating category
That is why i do not recomend smurf to make rage people cuz they can mass report you.
I told them even worse things and noone even banned me, not even from forum. Guerss they really doNt like LucIo players if you know what I mean…
Quick update, this is my main account, and I was 3800 elo a long time ago in season 4, maybe. I climbed up with support. I wasn’t smurfing and using any assist USB or software.
Still no respond to Blizzard xd
False positives are promised and on-record. Remember TreeManDave? The world’s highest level player, flagged for ‘cheating’ magically one day. This guy had a valuable account and everything to lose and was even streaming. Blizz apologized for the error, and he got his stuff back. But if they weren’t a high profile streamer = gg accnt gone.
This has happened many times over the years.
The fact that it’s on the rise in OW2 → possible bug and/or unintended effect.
Let’s give players the benefit of the doubt. It’s a new game (lol not rly) plagued by non-stop issues.
The EULA says they can yoink all your stuff or even turn the servers off.
All the more reason to rotate F2P burners. There is absolutely no reason to progress an account. With this company, your digital assets are always at risk. Never give them a $ when they’re not holding up basic customer service.
Totally agree, but I know what I did and what stupid things you shouldn’t do. The cheating player is the player I most hate. I never be in that type of player.
Good luck. Their anti cheat doesn’t work and bans innocent players regularly. You will get a automated response that it was justified and thats it. Nothing you can do about it.

and I submitted another ticket with an account that can’t log in. I received an email saying they received the ticket and GM would contact me, BUT!!! When I submitted the ticket with Appeal An Account, I didn’t receive anything.
So, let’s see if they have anything to say.
