Fix what? The goal of the system is to discourage leaving or playing with unstable hardware/internet.

sounds like there was other times you left before getting the 1 hour punishment. most I’ve ever gotten was 30 seconds and that’s cuz a friend gets online so I leave match.
(Relevant because it highlights the game starts with a quick punishment and will scale up if you keep leaving games)

been like that since beta get used to it. They don’t know if it was intentional or not to game the system.
Which is fine.
But if it’s being a bit ropey. Avoid ranked games, otherwise you’re ruining things for others.

Bro its not that serious, its a game. It has nothing to do with being selfish, its a technical problem.
If it’s not that serious then play unranked or arcade. If they didn’t have these punishments there would be leavers ruining every single game.

It’s a technical problem so there isn’t much you can do.
But it is selfish if you persist knowing you’ll be kicked out as you know there’s a chance you’ll ruin games for others.

And you knowingly ruining it for 9 other people means you’re selfish at best

If it’s not that serious then why complain about a deserved ban for not having the internet to support the game you’re playing when that’s one of the requirements to play the game?
This is the same as complaining about getting a speeding ticket for speeding and telling the cop “but it’s not that serious” acting like the victim when you get pulled over for your own actions.
I was kicked out of a comp game and immediately rejoined as fast as possible. We won and I think I gained SR but it still counted as a loss on my record. A day before that, same thing kicked me out right after another game ended that I also won. If it had happened 5 seconds sooner, I would’ve got a -50 and been pretty salty about it to say the least.
Play at your own risk ig. Rivals is slowly putting Blizzard out of business to the point they can’t even afford to keep their own servers up.
Same here. But the server disconnected me. I was still streaming and everything. It wasnt my gear, it was on their end and I got punished (only 15 mins tho)
