Hi! I was banned the other day, and the reason they say is “due to a hack” (?!?!?!). I made a support ticket but a “game master confirmed” I was cheating. I have no clue what happened! I’ve been playing since 2018, stack in bronze forever, earned a ridiculous amount of content, skins and credits and play almost ONLY QP. Can anyone give me hint what could have happen? I might’ve done something unintentionally but I don’t know where to start? Is there an escalation level beyond game master? Please help!

Well, then don’t cheat. Just because you have an OG account doesn’t mean you’re not willing to throw it all away for rage-hacking. Also, you don’t discuss your ban/suspension on the forums or you will get a suspension from the forums.

Tbf, CS is rarely helpful, and if you ever do get a human on the other end, 99/100 they give you a cookie cutter response that doesn’t really help and sometimes doesn’t even address the issue you’re having. You almost have to bring your issue to the forum so people who aren’t even on the payroll can give you a better idea what’s going on.
What? Ok, read my post again. Obviously I disagree with the ban and just need a right way to address the issue with Blizzard. I wasn’t disrespectful to anyone. If you have advise, please!

Hi there. I was interested in that statement, so I invested a few bucks and had somebody check you out. Turns out you have several alt accounts that you were regularly cheating on, and that is the reason your main account was permanently suspended.

Nope you’re screwed. I have never seen someone get unbanned and I’ve been here since 2017. People say you can but provide zero proof. The “customer service” isn’t real anymore you are 100% talking to a chat AI.

If you are playing a PVE game outside of Overwatch and have mods eneabled it will pick them up.
I have friends that mod Oblivion and PVE only games and they have been banned on game titles because their Cheatware checker detects it and snitches on you right away to blizzard once you launch the game.
Even though you dont cheat on this game. The company could be using an asset or sells cheats via other downloads and it sees that cheat as a whole on your RAM list, so it does it anyway and issues a ban.
Back in the day when AntiCheat first came about, it typically warned you that a cheat was detected and wouldn’t launch the game until you shut off a certain program.
Today, they dont want to warn you, because you know… ban surprises are supposedly more effective than informing a person they are doing something wrong . But somehow they think that this is “effective”.
We dont want cheaters in overwatch since there are plenty here, but I would ask them to generate a report as to what it was, clean your pc out and start over and unless you have money invested in the game, you cant really pressure them or request the State of California to investigate partial fraud.
Were you playong hitscan dps only?

Get to a certain level and the “hacker” reports start to pile in.
Also if yes, can you please play something different every once in a while?
playing a hitscan well and hacking are two entirely different things
