I feel like if you’re toxic you should get a ban from vc / chat for a year or if u keep on being toxic for ever , IMO I think permanently banning an account for toxicity is extreme? Especially if you keep getting suspended for saying small things like the f word or saying sht , i feel like banning some1 for toxicity is not needed at all ban them for chat and voice chat there is no need to ban a account for saying stupid things ??? If some1 is throwing oke ban them justified but for a curse word is just totally unnecessary . This must be worked on asap accounts get banned permanently for saying a Curse Word ! ( racism ban is justified) but saying just f word or sht , is just BS.

The idea is you will hopefully learn NOT to do this and the looming threat of you losing your account for repeated infractions should encourage you to actually pay attention to what you’re saying.

The point is to learn from your mistakes & not do them… not keep doing them.
If you keep doing the thing but don’t learn from it, that’s on you.
If you don’t want to get banned, try not saying what got you banned in the first place.
Or turn off chat yourself.

Widow pls swap, its not working costs me 2 accounts… yeah perfect report system and reviews by somebody. Also special thanks to Support, who keep spaming me back, this suspend was 100% accurate and ban will be not upheld.

You can’t learn your mistakes cause blizzard doesn’t tell you what you did, and the bans are not in real time so you could have a couple days to a couple weeks trying to remember what was said which is impossible. No one remembers what off the cuff comment they said… Not to mention the rules are subjective, 1 person might get away with saying something while another person saying same thing gets punished.
And blizzard doesn’t/ever care about correcting behavior, maybe they will start now that there is another game to fall back on.
All permabans do is either lower the player base, or make more cheaters. If your acct is deleted and you have money tied to your acct your less likely to cheat free game with 0 dollars tied to acct has no incentive not to cheat. I know if my acct got deleted i would want to ruin the experience for others.
They don’t care, infractions stack punishments whether different or the same.

I think that the bans are complete nonsense, because I get a second ban for asking people from the enemy team not to be selfish and to write “GG” in the team chat after a victory, and not in the general one, because the game was terrible on our team. And after several verbal skirmishes, I get a ban. Why then can’t we introduce such bans for bad people who write “EZ”. Personally, I think it’s better to introduce permanent bans for toxic people who writes “gg” or “ez”.

If someone gets several silences and a suspension, but keep repeating the behaviour anyway (for… reasons?) should they be surprised when they catch a ban?
So what you are saying if a repeat offender still do it, they should be killed no matter how small or big he have done. Got it

When it comes on the heels of a series of games where you ran into a stack of racists, or trolls, or people berating you for nothing? Yes, they should be surprised (but we just had a similar talk, haha).
Then a week or two later, you catch another bad string of games with more of these people.
Couple weeks later, another string of games where you run into these types again.
A few weeks later your account gets penalized. What would you think the reason would be?

They only get banned if you report them for the toxic chat.

For the sake of the question, let’s say no. You say, “I’m doing my best.” Or they tell the enemy that you were saying things you weren’t and you say, “I never said any of that, they’re just very upset because they don’t like my hero.”
So, like I asked, based on those series of games, and then you find yourself silenced or suspended. What conclusion would you draw from that, Tobias?
Don’t bother arguing with some people on this forum, they’re either paid Blizz shills or genuinely not able to see any issues with the current system.
Blizzard’s current system is like if you tweeted pictures of your work helping endangered elephants, but because 3 to 5 ivory hunters reported your tweet as offensive on separate days, you get thrown in jail for life without parole.
“There’s something fundamentally wrong with your behavior if you keep getting reported!”
Like people never abuse the system. Yesterday I said “gg wp!” to the other team when we lost a close fight, and our tank after being silent all game said “st*u boosted women shouldnt play video games” and “reported” 
Only 2 or so more of those toxic ppl over 20-30 games and my account would be gone with no guarantee of help from Blizzard.

Sooo is that what happened here? Or are we just saying that is what happened here? No one can make a fair judgement based on an incomplete picture.
I know you must think I’m taking the mick here, I’m really, really not. I’m absolutely, horrendously, 100% bad at reading between the lines. There are no lines.
So, if you’re reading my posts and thinking ‘why is everything such a ‘whoosh’ moment here with this guy?’ That’s why.
I am trying my hardest to see why it’s difficult to not interact with salty scumbags. I know they’re irritating. I know they say stuff that gets under your skin in a massive way. But to have it happen enough times where you get repeatedly actioned to the point of suspension or perma… I am honestly having a difficult time with that one.
Maybe it’s just me, but if I see the enemy calling for reports on someone: I’m not doing it unless I see that behaviour for myself.
