Ban diff from chat

This is getting ridiculous. GG ez was removed but this is allowed still? Its every game every play non stop all day long.

Let’s not ban anything from chat
If you’re that sensitive over a comment from someone on the internet you have the option to turn chat off.

GG EZ Kordovis diff

oh yeah lets let slurs go through too huh? what a moronic comment

Equating “diff” to a slur is pretty hyperbolic, don’t you think?

Diff is just a shorthand way of saying “(blank) was better than yours”.

Even though you’re addressing what he said with reason being he said

I don’t think he was really referring to slurs and more the other things such as “newbie; ggez; diff; ty for the tutorial”—all these are just banter and have’t really crossed any line with the in-game rules.

The only thing that annoys me a little is “ez” because i play on ME servers where its common to respond to win with one there.

I mean REALLY common. Even if the one who says it died a lot.

Im not sure if its just the arab culture that installs some insecure competitiveness that there needs to be a “spit on you while you’re down” mentality.

When i get onto french and Netherlands servers it ends with gg.
Its so much better

It doesn’t tilt me but i wouldn’t mind it being filtered.

It’s even funnier if the “ggez” comes from the one clearly underperforming the most in the match.

competitive trash talk happens in all sports and I love it. there are plenty of red lines you can’t cross though obviously but “diff” ain’t one of them lol. Too far is using ACTUAL slurs / racism / violent threats etc - I obviously report that and use the mute function in those cases. You’re way too sensitive
I have fun trying to get under the enemies skin mid match
dropping a “?” when I kill them or cancel their ult - asking in match chat “um is your ‘xxx’ throwing? they have more deaths than kills - should I report?”. also “gg ez” wasn’t removed
its just a funny troll blizzard played on people and frankly I still type gg ez cuz imo the messages are funny and we both know you know exactly what i mean when i say

it’s past my bedtime. Please don’t tell my mommy

Get rekt  ggez, forums diff

It’s a game, lighten up lol

The absolute state of the ME servers and PS4 EU servers (which contain many players from that region) is something nobody wants to address lol.

It’s the same on every server my guy

Chat diff

There are already reports on players being silenced for typing anything in the chat in spanish and other languages. I have typed one different language too and got silenced, but never realized it was due to the non english chat until I read it’s happening to many players.
So chat ban is already broken and you can get auto ban for typing non english on an EU server.
Blizzard keeps hitting new low every day. It’s amazing to see a company and game developers performing worse by every single day for over an year. Normal human beings learn from their mistakes and start/try to improve, however it’s not the case when it comes to Blizzard for some reason.

People fail to realize that people tend to gg ez at the end of the match. Diff is casually used during and fun fact, your team mates don’t magically play better when you’re being rude to them. While I don’t think it should get the exact treatment of gg ez being translated into a random sentence. The phrase has no business being in game.

Cranky’s advice:

Dont put so much value in the words of others. You’ll live a significantly happier life.

Legit though, you care too much.

Maybe we should ban “moronic” that reply really hurt my feelings.

What’s the point in banning stuff from chat. I got a warning today when I A. Haven’t logged on in nearly 2 weeks and B. Never join voice or type anything anyway .

People will cry and report either way.

that was added as an april fools joke and the community loved it so much it stuck around
