ball hits point. ults. and i tried to escape as illari above to the building for defenders on hollywood first point. the one you need to walk through to get to point, with the tables overlooking the point.
and when i get to the top, what do I find? a singular mine that kills me because he slammed down and took health off me. just one mine. how is that consistent at all? how is that even my fault? It wasn’t even his intended place. sure, it has a radius, but that isn’t even where he wanted it to go.

I don’t get the problem? The mines shoot up and out and stay where they land
You just gotta keep a better eye out for them
i literally could not have kept a better eye for it, it spawned as soon as i tried to escape onto a second floor
I think that’s the point they’re trying to make, bud.
Dying to bad luck feels bad.

Their bad luck was that they didn’t see something. There was no luck involved in the gameplay.
I think what should actually be fixed is the enormous hitbox on mines. At one point several people thought they could walk around them only to die immediately because you don’t even need to be touching them
Hey, just like Widowmaker’s “bullets”
That’s why they’re PROXIMITY mines.
It means you don’t have to touch them, just be in their proximity, AKA nearby. I’m pretty sure the hitbox is the blue laser triggers that stick out of them.
They’re already reasonably avoidable and have a big audio queue and arm time to GTFO.
I literally told you I saw it before landing, are you trying not to understand on purpose? it spawned in a completely different place than the user intended. there’s no seeing that. it’s complete random. how is that not luck based?
Because that take is false
They stay where they fall, there is no luck. You can test it yourself in the practice range
