3 of the first 5 QP games of the day had people DC/quit and then no backfill to replace them. Maintenance not going on that would prevent it. No point in playing if I have pretty good odds of it being a 3-4 vs 5.
This bug has been ongoing for at least a month now, No replacement players in quickplay
I just encountered this same bug. Played a quick play game Control game mode and lost a team member a few mins into the first map. Played all 3 maps 4v5 and it never backfilled the entire time. Game replay code is 3F6XRB
same just had 2 back to back qp with no backfill
I encountered this yesterday and today the opposite team had the bug.
Maybe a bunch of replies will finally get noticed, 5 matches today where one team or the other never got backfills. 5, but cosmetic issues are bound to be fixed for the next patch right?
Happened only once to our group in the past month but we took some photos in the final round. Two of their teammates left during the previous round.

This has happened to me at least 10 times this week. The only viable “solution” I’ve seen is for everyone to start leaving so it will panic and boot everyone out into queue.
Bumping the thread since this is still a thing in 2024. Tank left before the match began and ended up being 5 minutes of pointless “gameplay”
