Fellow Overwatch Enjoyers,
I encourage everyone who enjoys or cares about this game to research how these cheaters work so you can identify them. It’s extremely satisfying for our 3 stack to squash their 5 stack of cheaters in back to back games. The game changed when I identified they were cheating mid-game and then I notified my team so we can adapt our tactics.
Recently I went down the rabbit hole of learning how the cheater social/business network operates, and how the customers (cheaters) tune the hero cheats in so many different ways, with the main goal of the cheat being undetectable by average players.
I started watching almost all of my replays and comparing them to known cheat styles.
Now I have the advantage and satisfaction of being able to identify cheaters mid-game, squash them, call them cheating noobs at the end, and then destroy them AGAIN in rematch because now after being called out they are too scared to use their cheats…
****In the second replay you can just see how sad and defeated and clumsy they are after being called out and trying to beat us without cheats. They all left the second game one by one after failed attempts. One of them, instead of leaving the game, didn’t even choose their hero and just let the game kick them? Lmao how shameful.
Learning to play around the cheaters brought back a lot of fun to the game for me and my friends, I promise you. And I’ve beat soooo many more of them since I got good at IDENTIFYING them.
Because back in my day, cheaters didn’t try to hide their cheats like nowadays “soft cheaters.” They would just go full AC130 on the entire lobby and type profanities in the chat when questioned. Then the lobby would gang up on cheater, and sometimes we kill them once, then they go full invisible AC-130, and then we say enough and go ride our bikes outside.
